Palace wouldn't allow approach for any player until after the Charity Shield game. So, I expect Palace and Eze's agent now to flesh out a move to the highest bidder. I'm still not convinced he's an elite player worthy of a record breaking transfer fee, but Spurs need some creativity and need home grown players - and there simply isn't anyone else that fits the bill available in the market.
Still a chance that Romero leaves in this window. Could Spurs be planning a 100m double swoop from Palace? Guehi and Eze? Could Bissouma & Soloman head to palace as part of the deal?
Solanke and Udogie are both fit. Were left out of Pre Season games to work on some additional recovery.
