Not sure if or how true but it highlights what I and many were saying before about needing a LW. Its clear odobert is not quite ready and tel not suitable on the LW.
As before, these youngsters need time and should supplement established players whilst the learn and grow not be depended onto carry the pressures and expectations of a top club.

And before anyone says, yes I know savinho is only 21 himself but he is far far further along and better than odobert and Tel right now.

The intrigue within football appears to know no bounds. Listened to a fairly articulate CP fan talk on ssn yesterday seemingly making numerous informed revelations about Textor etc. Like him not being able to put his shares into a blind trust because he was trying to sell his and doing so would prevent it.

Taken at face value I formed a particular opinion based on information received. That is until you take into account in the same interview said guy also mentioned the fact that Eze's position has changed since the deadline of his release clause has passed?

Doesn't mean either statements are true or false but the news about Eze's clause still being active this morning is enough to take aim at the messenger again.

Absolutley laughable if true. I mean how long did we have to trigger the clause?

If we could get Eze and Savinho over the line it would certainly brighten everyones mood and expectations for the coming season.

I just don't see it happening. We are talking £120m+ for those two. Levy probably had to go see his cardiologist just thinking about the numbers involved.

Eze's release clause is exorbitant. 68 million in one slug is equivalent to 90 odd over 5 years, more if you have to borrow/put in equity to get the cash (as we almost certainly would). His agent must be Steve Parish's brother.

Eze, Savinho, Kane next season and then why stop there?

In a couple of years use medical advances to rejuvenate Bale to the physical level of his 24 year old self, stem cell treatment for Vicario to grow 4 extra limbs and a brain, clones of Cannavaro and Maldini with Ledley King's love of Spurs gene spliced in.

Thinking a bit wider, maybe a new Stadium built on Mars so we can become pioneers of a new Universal Super League?

Possibilities are endless if we can only get Savinho and Eze over the line to get the ball rolling.
