I really hate when journalists purposely use Euros just to exaggerate a story and it gives them license then to tweak the numbers at they claim their exchange rate calculation was wrong if anyone pulls them up on it.

City initially demanded 60m pound = 69.5m Euro
Spurs initially offered 45m pound = 52m euro

Sensational nonsense. It also sounds like City have already lowered their 60m demand according to Jack Gaughan. We're getting closer.

And don't even get me started on American websites insisting on translating this stuff into US dollars as if that makes things clearer rather than more confusing.

By the way that Jack Gaughan is apparently very reliable for City news.
