Fofana isn’t a Brazil international. Savinho is… that’s my point. Market wise

Paulinho also says hi
Being a Brazil international means nothing to me. Richarlison was Brazils number 9 at the last world cup and I've not seen a worse striker in a long time
We will never replace the commercial revenue that Son generated. Total one off, and thankfully he was a wonderful player and not just a cash cow
To those who think hes not worth it, for whatever reason.....
Could you compile a list of players 21 or younger that are as talented as savinho, with the skillset he has, and the potential he has, also considering his standing in the game right now and his potential star status from a marketing perspective?
Il start the list.....
Yamal
Doue
Anyone? Its difficult right?

It means you give the club access to a huge market and global attention
Richy doing a bicycle kick at the World Cup was massive for our brand

They sold Cole Palmer. And yet City are considering selling him after just one season![]()
People are not very smart. It’s really not hard. What they publicly want and what they're prepared to accept, after much negotiation, are two separate amounts....
Do people realise this ffs lol
And in time they’ll prove to be worth it. No doubt at least one will be a top player.
Correct
Malick Fofana will cost half that and will do just as good job on the left

Really? I don't get it.
68 million is alot less than they would ask for if he didn't have a release clause.
Just tells me the whole approach is another sham imitation of ambition if any of it is true
Also savinho stats are amazing highest crossing percentile among players under 20 in his girona season and was a better dribbler then yamalIt’s not really fair to dismiss Savinho like that. In his first breakout season, he produced 19 goal involvements in La Liga in a tougher league than Ligue 1 while playing for Girona, a much smaller club than Lyon. He’s also younger than Fofana, yet matched him for total G/A and still managed 8 assists in his debut season in a difficult league at just 21 years old.
First seasons are hard for any player, regardless of age, yet he adapted and contributed significantly. People always moan about Levy not spending, but then pick apart a transfer target who is already better than what we currently have and better than most we could realistically attract. The market is what it is — £60–£70m is the going rate for a promising, exciting 21 year old with a high ceiling.
Comparing him directly to Fofana and assuming he would do better ignores the context, the league difficulty, and what he’s already achieved against stronger opposition.
Or maybe they don’t have an issue selling a player if he wants to leave?Which is why they will be uber careful not to make the same mistake again
What did Eze say on Monday?Yeah it's pathetic! Was wondering why it was taking so long and it's because Levy has no intention of paying the release clause!
All the usual suspects saying to calm down and no news is good news. Rubbish. Eze made it clear he was open to the move on Monday. He has a release clause. And 48 hours later we are still weighing up a bid which is clearly going to be below the release clause! And it sounds like Palace will reject it.
And yet City are considering selling him after just one season![]()

Not interested in joining your misery.
