Does Guehi forcing his way out help us or hurt us?
Palace won't want a repeat next summer so could look to cash in on Eze, on the other hand losing 2 key players without replacements is putting a big dent in their season.
Good question. That's what I'm wondering as well, while leaning towards the possibility that they'll try to cash in on Eze.

Palace already took a hit last summer when they had to sell Olise for his release clause. They could've definitely gotten more than that.
It's now certain that they're going to take an even bigger hit on Guehi, it's a matter of how big it's going to be.
With these two precedents in mind, it's natural to assume that they can't afford to go through the same thing for the third time with Eze next summer.

On the other hand, with European football on the horizon, they also can't afford to field a weakened team. The best case scenario for them would be to use Eze money to address a few needs of the squad near the end of the window, but it's easier said than done .

If what we read has any truth about it...

Both Savinho and Eze want to join?
Both are happy with their proposed contract offers?
Both Palace and City are not going to stand in their way?

Then all we are talking about is the fees?

Apparently City are looking for 60m euro? Fair, in todays market!
Apparently Palace are looking for around the same with Eze going into his final year? Also Fair!

So again, if any of what we are reading is true, then medicals will be booked within the next 48 hours. Or there are certain people (Levy) who don't think the fees are fair and as a result these deals won't get across the line, even though both of these players will increase our chances of success and therefore a bigger revenue.

There's bean counting, then there's bean counting!

Not Euro.

CP want £68m
MC want £73m-ish
