I mean sort of, he was thoroughly mixed last season as any normal City fan would tell you, hence why they're willing to flog the fucking bloke.

Some nice stuff, a lot of not so good stuff, plenty of potential. Williams would slot in to any side here and be brilliant because he's fucking strong, fucking fast and direct, and this league loves that. Antony can put up good numbers in La Liga because the physicality is about half as intense there.
Yet Savinho's "mixed" season was as good as all Williams in LA Liga bar 1.

Surely Williams should be absolutely dominating La Liga with his physicality then, but he isn't. He also has alot of poor games, including 1 against Man Utd last season.

Harped on about it but imo we definately need another striker before window shuts. We must have someone on ice surely but if solanke gets injured again were short. Name of the game is to score goals. If we get eze but i still think the gooners are lurking on this deal, eze is a free kick specialist and can take penalties. Ideal. I wish we would hurry up though.

If Pep absolutely loved Savinho, he would be going absolutely fucking nowhere. He probably thinks he's a talented lad. He chats a load of fucking shit in the press and bigs up his players (especially the young ones) to silly levels. Almost as much as he bigs up the opposition. I'm expecting a 100 mill bid for Kulu any day now based on Pep's salivating, maybe we could offer them a swap deal?

Are you playing Savinho down in case we actually sign him, like you played down the EL in case we actually won it?

Suspect yes

Yes huge freedom in the transfer market to waste money on transfer fees for a lot of dross

At no point did I say we’ve spent money wisely.

I’m just pointing out that if we changed strategy and started paying much higher wages, we’d not have the ability to make high value signings.

Levy was super confident on this being the right method for Spurs, especially given our relatively high income. Sadly the bigger clubs have found various loopholes.

But even with Eze, Woolwich are in a position where they can’t risk buying him until they sell first. So we might now gain Eze.

It’s all risk versus reward, but the downside is we are spending a lot of this spare money on poor value signings.

It’s also why we are mainly targeting potential, as we hope they will be appreciating assets.

It’s just our position in the food chain within the current FFP model.

Even if we got major investment, we wouldn’t be able to and spend a fortune on wages unless the new owners find FFP loopholes.

Savinho is massively attractive to Levy as wages will be low and in theory he will not lose value over time - but could increase in value if he rips it up.

I've said numerous times he's very good, he's just not as good as you or others think he is. But you think all our players are about three times as good as they actually are, if you didn't we would win everything every season from having so many generational talents.

You like to big this stuff up to ridiculous levels which doesn't help anyone. Tel is something that doesn't actually exist in your mind. The EL is the club version of the Euros in your mind. It isn't logical or sane.

Eze seems to have quite a few goals in him. The way he plays almost feels more like a false 9/ left-inside forward than a 10 to me. I think Frank can get a tune out of Dom. Doubt he can get Richy scoring considering he never really has on any levels.
