I agree, people have every right to be expecting that let down because it has happened alot in the past. I understand the pessimism.
Just to be clear I can't stand levy or enic and have wanted them to leave for a few years, even gave up my season ticket and not bought any memberships, merchandise shirts in protest.
But based on all the information we have to date on the transfers along with the huge pressures the ownership are under to backup there talk and compete i believe that both the live deals will be done (eze, savinho).
I can't persuade others, everyone can make there own assumptions but thats how I feel. I am frustrated with how long its taking though. We need eze early this week and savinho tied up next weekend.
2 weeks from tomorrow all this madness will be over for another summer and we can see if Levy has changed the habit of a lifetime and backed a manager or not

My mindset on both eze and savinho is 50/50. City can reject any bid. If we bid 100m and savinho wanted to stay they would reject it. Small change for them. If true, brazil agents flew in i think we proposed deal to them who will then speak to player about it. Could be a new contract or if he tells pep he wants out then he will join us. Eze will join imo. Palace may keep him until they get in group stage of europe. All ifs and buts.
Eze is clearly leaving palace and all the noises suggest it's to us. I'm confident savinho or another will be in before the window ends too.
