I'm sure some of you would rather we didn't sign Eze and/or Savinho just so you can be right about Levy and continue to do very little but hate on him.

I'd rather be wrong about Levy, Spurs get good and I have something to look forward every week.

And after all the noise, and the Gibbs-White nonsense, it would be a fatal blow for Levy in my opinion.

My view, having seen today's United/Woolwich match is that we will need both aforementioned players (or similar), and a bit more, just to be competitive.
Without either Kudus or Maddison, I agree we would struggle greatly to create chances against top opposition. We'd probably have to resort to 3 at the back and play for set pieces against top 4 opposition.

Levy can greatly reduce the chances of us being left without a dominant attacker by bringing in one of Savinho or Eze, or preferably both.

So are we buy the sounds of it. Haggling away to squeeze the deal and take advantage of the selling club risks missing out on the quality of player we need if we're serious about competing.
lets say we sign him for 60, hes going to be on 180k a week say for 4 years, youre talking nearly 100m to have eze playing for you for four years, is he that good? hell be 31 in 4 years time ands will start declining fairly quick as he relies on being physically sharp.

What i like about eze is hes so skilful, perfect in between midfield and attack, drifts past players, can unlock defences, set piece specialist and can take penalties as well. Tremendous signing if we get him. Savinho can be a superstar for us once he gets into stride. If i had to pick 1 though at this time id have eze.
Agree- he's just a bit more versatile tactically than Savinho- if we had to choose one to help us win now, this season, I'd choose Eze.

My mindset on both eze and savinho is 50/50. City can reject any bid. If we bid 100m and savinho wanted to stay they would reject it. Small change for them. If true, brazil agents flew in i think we proposed deal to them who will then speak to player about it. Could be a new contract or if he tells pep he wants out then he will join us. Eze will join imo. Palace may keep him until they get in group stage of europe. All ifs and buts.
Pep did say he was looking to offload a couple more and that the squad was too big.

Oscar Bobb's performance yesterday does us no harm also I'd say.
