66m pounds is mad money for Savinho. He has huge potential but he's nowhere near world class levels yet. He currently can't start for City or Brazil and scored 1 goal in 29 appearances last season. I'm shocked we haven't walked away tbh. Our first offer was 45m and I'd imagine it took alot for Levy to agree to bid again for around 55-60m.

It’s not mad money at all. He has elite potential and is already a very decent player. He will only need to start finding the back of the next consistently which at 21 he could easily do over the next couple of seasons and he’ll be worth 100 million.

It definitely feels like it’s entering that kind of territory with us that if it doesn’t happen today then the chances of it happening seem to reduce. Negotiations that go on this long publicly rarely pan out well for us.
The masochist in me is almost willing to call it a day if we get Eze in and let Tel/Odobert develop during the season. The realist in me doesn´t se it happening but I´m so used to suffer that I might accept it.
Also I have some hope that Frank can develop attackers. And both clearly have some talent. Maybee this season will end on a higher note if those two will be given the chance (the optimist in me was writing the last part)
