Transfers The Summer Transfer Edging Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Yeah but people were saying last week a deal has been agreed in principle, but here we are almost a week later and Eze is about to play for Palace again putting things off for another week at best.

Newcastle have never agreed anything with Liverpool over Isak, it's not the same at all.
Genuine question...

What have these ''people'' you speak of done to make you trust their word?

I'm assuming they are strangers to you?

These click-baiting ''journalists'' are grifters of the highest order who are proven wrong, year in year out.

Yet, people fall for the some stuff every year. For every ''scoop'' they get correct (by luck) there are thousands they get wrong.

okay so when you posted

"The overriding sense is always that Baldcunt longs significant potential transfers out in the hope that they will fail."

but you disagree and think that that "sense" is ridiculous?
I'm not sure how this makes you initial post any less asinine.

Anyway, if you are now asking this as a separate question, then, yes, I do not think that that "sense" is ridiculous.

Factual history of Baldcunt's behaviour in the market -- phantom pursuits of players -- would greatly support it.

I think I'm on solid ground , bro.

I didnt - but every transfer is different mate - some are like this - others are different - Your shtick, no matter what is - cos Levy.
Oh come on you said what would you want us to do in the circumstances, well Kane is one of our greatest ever players and we sold him without a plan . Has Levy got things right of course he has but he has run the club for 25 years, if what he got right was by design it would happen more frequently.

He has at best a 25% strike rate on the most important hires the manager , the DOF’s have never really worked and I’m pro the concept. Transfers over 25 years of course he has some belters in there but I would expect nothing less in 25 years . The 25 year build of the academy is almost a total failure , fingers crossed for a couple of prospects going forward , but Kane joined at 8 so ENIC infancy before the academy strategy was implemented.

So in any other business would the boss get praised when he got something right 25% of the time of course not . So if Frank works out I won’t be saying well done Daniel , it’s still way less performance wise than I would expect of someone paid 3-6 million per annum with an enormous upside share of the business .

He is part owner so we are stuck with him . He is doing a good job for himself and the Lewis trust. Why do fans use this as a justification for his appalling strike rate at all things football . I take zero joy in the real estate biz , weird some do because we have got worse since the stadium came along. FACT

yeah,

there's too much noise and shit online, Romano's basically tweeted the same update times a day for the last 5 days is helping no one, it's incredibly annoying.

They get the rump of their business done.

That's the point.

They can lose out on what they're now still after -- with 2 weeks left to go -- and they're still set.

If we don't, we're not... at all.

A couple key injuies and we're fucked, in a CL season.

Big difference.

Imagine if kudus gets injured....
yeah but we've brought in 3 and want 2 more

is that not the "rump" of our business done?

Liverpool has lost Diaz, Nunez and Jota (RIP)

VVD was lamenting the loss of the Community shield to the lack of firepower

effectively their slowness in not paying up for Isak has cost the the English super cup.

***if you want to spin it that way.

Sorry, so you think Levy actively pursues deals that he believes can't be done but will waste plenty of his time for no end result?

OK.
