Said the whole club got played. We agreed terms last weekend but Eze delayed giving us the green light for the deal and it was getting suspect. Hes basically saying Eze was always holding out for Woolwich. And really we’ve probably been naive.
I genuinely think Woolwich were always going to come in for him regardless of the Havertz injury. I wouldn’t actually be surprised if Woolwich still bring in someone maybe on loan as cover for Havertz. I think Eze was always one they wanted as they’ve been flirting all summer with him.
You can allow yourself to be disappointed this one time .....no one will judge you.......

Eze is a staunch Gooner. A through and through man who has always wanted to return to them. That’s’ fair enough I guess.
But why, when due diligence is a thing, were Spurs of all teams sniffing around a gooner ? I recognise that an argument exists that a professional is a professional, but across our history when has a known Gooner ever really been accepted?
Graham / Sherwood etc - as soon as an iffy performance came along they were pillared for being gooners, Eze would have been no different. Anytime he was 90% into a tackle we would have killed the bloke.
So why the hell would we go for him in the first place and risk this outcome / damage ? It smacks of the people running the transfer business not being blessed with emotional intelligence and understanding as to where they actually work! Some things do not mix. And that’s the reality of life.
And it is just another ridiculous reality with this board and Flange the cry baby. They are not “us” in anyway.

You sound closer to being pissed off than me lol. Honestly though, I left my transfer window emotions/expectations behind in 2024 when we resigned Werner - that was the last straw for me so I've checked out a longggggg time ago buddy. I'm just watching it all burn and throwing in some bants and my two pence. I feel sorry for those melting right now, which is fair play, i get it, but at some point you have recall "fool me once, shame on you, fool me 20+ years...."

On here the view point is that Levy and co got played and have dragged the club into the idiot box again and tomatoes are being flung this way when it was avoidable. Mostly, Eze has escaped criticism. ( although now I know his Gooner status I don’t think that will last in my case )
