Agreed.

Its unacceptable for Spurs to be put in these types of situations for obvious reasons.

Off the back of a European Trophy and Spurs are taking their sweet time with the deal when acting early on is crucial regardless of release clauses.

I think its very unlikely Frank is left short, its just hoping the players signed will be up to Frank's quality, and lets be honest, when are the third, fourth, fifth choices going to elevate a side? Rarely unless they're an unknown talent.

In the scenario in which Spurs completely bottle it by not purchasing experienced players, Levy will deservedly feel the heat. You cant let Son go without signing an extremely good LW irrespective of purchasing a 10.
 
Very interesting to see how it goes. Guys like Levy generally don’t like being made to look a fool by their peers and normally react in a big way to bring themselves back on top. Logically this would entail us going all out to bring in savinho and maybe the lad from Monaco, this would save the window and put us in a better position than at the end of last season……. The issue is that this goes against every thing levy stands for internally. Being frugal, being conservative and looking out for his investment rather than the sporting side….. wonder which side wins out
 
Time to admit that we can only attract lower league players who see us as a better hedge against relegation.
Our recent purchases of Richi and Kudus for example along with Johnson and Odobert.
Time to dredge the Championship, I can see Haden Hackney on the horizon.
