Levynomics 101.Can't we just wait till Palace have full agreement then match it?
Don't want to spend a penny more than you have to.
You, Sir, have passed with flying colours.

Levynomics 101.Can't we just wait till Palace have full agreement then match it?
I’m not saying that to be awkward honestly
The convo wasn't purely about this summer.... That much was already perfectly clear.
We've suffered 2 zingers this summer; which sucks.... There's no denying that.
Are we really pretending Man U aren't a clusterfuck these days or that it doesn't typically take AFC 3/4 years to sign a ST or DM?
Sure but this summer in the context of the billion they’ve now spent on Arteta since he started during a period when we were ahead of them, just adds fuel to the fire.
Levy and ENIC can’t or won’t try to compete with them financially and it’s got nothing to do with revenue or pnl.
But when they go for someone, they generally get it done. They don’t get rejected at the very last stage of the deal after weeks of publicly chasing the player.
Nico Paz could be another Bryan Gil, or he could be another Christian Eriksen
He’s been there 6 years. It’s not that much that they’ve spent. Woolwich have spent €1.24 bn since the start of the 19/20 season and we have spend €1.14. That’s less than £100m difference spread over 6 years. And if we make another big splash this summer then the different is negligible.Sure but this summer in the context of the billion they’ve now spent on Arteta since he started during a period when we were ahead of them, just adds fuel to the fire.

The Premier League and funnily enough the club has got to big for them. They don’t have the financial muscle to compete
Sarr would be the better choice against top teams. However if we need to pick the lock then BEK the better choice.
And why do you say that it says it all when Sarr has been arguably our best performer so far under Frank? He’s shone against PSG and City, doesnt get any bigger than that
Every summer transfer window it’s the same the DonkeyThe Premier League and funnily enough the club has got to big for them. They don’t have the financial muscle to compete
Why are we even comparing them ?The problem is, Eriksen cost us £12m, Gil £25ish. Paz would be somewhere around our record fee, it’s a much bigger gamble than either of those two.
The real comparison is the wage structure. Guys like Reiss Nelson are earning double what VDV is on with us. Jesus earns 3 times what Richarlison makes here. Havertz is on nearly 300k a week and he's their squad player. Our squad players like Bergval and Odobert are on roughly 20k a week. He’s been there 6 years. It’s not that much that they’ve spent. Have we bought some shit? Yes
But Woolwich have bought shit like Nicolas Pepe and Fabio Vieira. Havertz and Gabriel Jesus is over 100m in talent that has not really shown it on the pitch.
STOP BEING CUCKS FOR Woolwich
They'll leave us short at FB for sure, they'll think we got plenty with Porro, Djed, Udo, Ben, Archie. Wouldn't be surprised to see them use Drag at RB if push comes to shove. 6 options, what youse moaning about?!Said this a while back , we need a pair of full backs for each side , we are lucky that DJed can play both wings but we are literally 1 injury away from our left backs playing every game.
Sarr got 6 goals and 3 assists in about 3000 minutes last season.I didn't mean it as a knock to sarr in anyway. I think although not a 10 we would probably stand to gain more as a team from sarr playing there than bek.
Sarr would probably outscore bek too and offer excellent energy.
Simply.put id rather sign NO 10 than one thats not good enough. Keep a very strong and robust midfield 3 and cough up for savinho for creativity fro. The wide areas. Kudus could move central too with johnson right.
Our squad just gets filled up with players that are of similar quality. We need quality now not numbers

Gil was not in season best XI … nor did he do it outside LaLiga
Paz was selected in best Serie A XI for 24/25… and he did that in his first season outside of his home country.
Gil comparison is lazy at best
