Not paid much attention to him at Man United, but would Eriksen do for a season? Even till Kulu comes back? Pretty unambitious, but say we got Savinho, Hincapie and then Eriksen for a season. At least you’d know he probably ain’t gonna turn us down, but he has that connection with the club and with Frank.
Tel thought he was too good for us, rejected the mandatory buy option only wanted a loan but in the end it worked out better for us because we ended up paying less then we originally intended to because it turned out Tel definitely wasn't too good for us.
Was always an impossible deal to make. Didn't let myself get too involved because this one was never happening ever. What player on their right mind is going to choose Spurs over Madrid? Would be a game changer, but alas.
Eriksen is about as useful as dele Alli these days

Every transfer is felt out before buying. Forest only got butt hurt because they felt the clause amount was too low, and technically they had a case or we'd have heard the club say otherwise.
I'd settle for Nkunku and BEK (and a LBor LB/LCB hybrid). Or Fofana/BEK.
But if it was nothing or Sancho, I'd take him. Would at least give us an option on that left side
Edit, or even Garnacho on a loan/option. We desperately need some attacking options on that side that aren't called Johnson.
