There was a lot of resistance from Haringey, which had to be overcome. The detour via Stratford was a result of Haringey intransigence. Happens all the time. Bayern took a punt, decided he wasn't allowed that, punted him on us for an inflated fee that we'll never see value in.
There's no one here that can truthfully tell you they see a player there, he's just so so bad. He already needs loaned out, and his time here will likely be a series of loans until we let him leave for free.
I haven't seen a less impactful player in a very, very long time.
The silver lining in it is that there's every chance Rio Ngumoha and Max Dowman wind up following the same path
And doubtless some of the players hyped now will end up where Tel is two years from now.
