Transfers The Summer Transfer Edging Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Asensio and Kolo Muani on loan would be fine.

Frank supposed to be this great improver of players, so let’s see him do that with what he has. Make sure he’s the real deal and do business in January if need be.

Overpaying for anyone at this late stage doesn’t make sense to me. But we really do need someone else looking after both incomings and outgoings as a matter of urgency.

It's becoming blatantly obvious that teams across Europe would rather deal with anyone else but Levy, it's almost like he has been blacklisted and would not be surprised if this is actually true. Yrs of being deliberately awkward, moving goal posts at the last minute and dithering over deals have come back to haunt us. It's either that or not paying the wages , but this has been an utter disaster of a window, missed two sitters in Eze & MGW and with days left the squad is at least 3 players short of the minimum required.
By God he better not make it worse by signing dross like Sancho or Rabiot.

The end of this window reeks of what we have all seen before, total disorganisation and planning leading to chaos, with the imaginary wheelbarrow being ferried around Europe trying to fulfill imaginary impossible transfers, followed by the usual we tried but decided to keep our powder dry until January tripe. Get to fuck out and let someone who knows what the are doing run the football side of the club.

What a crock of shite you write.

He signed none of those players lol . Paratici and Gabanni signed Vicario. As he did Vuskovic when he was 16 before he could actually join ditto Van der Ven, he also scouted and signed Sarr. Bentancur Kulusevski. And Spurs worked from his list post the ban which Maddison and (Sadly) Dragusin were on.

So not Kinsky, Danso?

Here are some of the players Johan Lange has signed for Tottenham:

Paratici in Gabannini in, Paratici out, Gabanini out, Munn in, Lange in, Munn out, Vinki in, Paratici in, Gabanini in….

This is an utter fucking shit show from Levy. And it has been like this for the last 8 years. No fucking clear plan, lurching from half arsed strategy to no strategy. Steve fucking Hitchen as DOF ffs.

Absolutely incompetent leadership.
Agreed it’s terrible reading. And the outcome sums up the folly of it.

However I have no idea what the typical tenure of these people are at other clubs. Is it commonplace to only stick around a year or 2 in those roles? Genuinely no idea.

Actually beggars belief how badly Levy has fumbled this window! Won the lottery in winning the Europa league and rather than back the project (not asking to sign Yamal etc) and add 2-3 upgrades in key positions he reverts to type to nickel and dime every other club.

Clear as day he has got to the stage where other clubs would rather get less money or lesser terms than deal with him!

Never before have city got in the way of a deal or required a replacement….. until levy knocks on the door!

His market stool ways of doing transfer business just doesn’t work in 2025 when your hoping to buy from other wealthy clubs

How is this window not a horror show?
So Paulinha and Kudus have been absolute disasters?

Or are people calling it a horror show, because we didn't get Eze and MWG? Throwing their toys out the pram and acting like spoiled children?

Sorry, but I am not letting that twat Levy, destroy my mental health and turn me in a two year old throwing a fecking tantrum... He can F off, I am not taking the bait.

As for Savinha, we will just have to wait. It's not a bad thing it has gone quiet. It could be done, and keeping it quiet so ManC can get a replacement, or doing other things behind the scenes.

And no, I am not defending Levy, because all this should have been sorted a lot earlier in the window, but then we have a new manager and he would have need to have a look at the squad etc etc.

I am chilled, I am cool, and I am not stressing one bit.

Is that you then, Daniel?

Never in my life have I seen someone so concisely sum up the (detestable) Levy mindset to player recruitment.

Tottenham Hotspur transfer supremo Johan Lange is renowned for working in the shadows, like a true ninja...
We were lucky enough that he had some unexpected time available in the middle of the busiest summer transfer window. He kindly gave us a full insight into his highly detailed transfer process.
Stay tuned for the entire 45 second segment at midday but until then enjoy these clips of the man in action.

It’s been over 3 weeks since Maddison’s injury. We still haven’t looked anywhere near signing an amf. We were supposed to be signing another 10 before Mads went down. This goes beyond incompetence.

No, not Daniel.

As you’ll have seen very clearly from my post, I’m obviously unhappy with the window, as I’m saying we need someone else doing our transfer business. However, I’m also realistic enough to know that it’s late in the window, so a couple of loans may be all that we can do now. And if it’s that, or pay £70m for Savinho or the like, I’d rather the loan thing.

I’m also not going to be the poster who cries every single fucking window about Levy never changing, yet at the same time hoping it might be different this time.

People who are upset after continual negligence window after window after window are well within their rights to be fucking upset and to vent about it, if, and how they want, you sanctimonious little prick.

Stop puffing up like your some sort of cool cunt who's dealing with Baldcunt's microcock up your arse soooo much better than everyone else.

No one's in admiration of it.

Fuck do you think you are???

People will rage if they want to and are absolutely entitled to - spending thousands on this fucking club to be treated like plebs by that fucking conman fraud.

Don't you dare tell people they can't be enraged, or try and belittle their emotions.

How fucking dare you.

All this says to me is, you're a child.

And all you are doing is letting Levy beat you.

Sorry, but I am not stressing at all. I am not letting Levy get to me. I also not handing over a single penny to the club, until they show a modicum of a well planned and excuted running of the club.

Seriously, take a step, look at what you wrote and ask yourself is that normal.

I hate how much I can actually align with this sentiment at this late stage of the window. Such are the dire straits this club puts us in.

I do think Savinho is worth it, though that may just be personal preference… but everyone else no. I don’t see dropping £60, 70, 80, 90 mill on Paqueta Semenyo etc. as something any smart club with a coherent strategy would ever do, as it would severely hamstring our ability to actually acquire elite attacking talent.

Idk. There has to be a middle ground somewhere between pisstake loans for wasters like Danjuma and Werner and massive overpays, but I remain unconvinced the club can find it.
