This will go down as the season four clubs disrupted the entire transfer market. They got in early and then stayed in. I can't remember a window quite like this.
 
I'd rather we kept our powder dry and not waste money on a 6th or 7th choice who Frank does not want long term. Recall Donley and let him play as a #10 against park the bus teams. Failing that promote Williams Barnett from the academy. We can also play Odobert or Kudus as a 10, or even play 4-4-2 with Solanke and Richy up top (or Tel).

As things stand currently squad wise, controversial perhaps, but I think in his first season Frank should bin-off The CL and concentrate on pushing for top 4 and going all out for domestic silverware this season.

Trouble is, presently too many of the teams/shapes need the same players to work.

Can happily get on board with getting Rodriguez from Lyon and another “best of young HG” we can nab.

Treat the competition like like some clubs treat The Carabo cup, play weaken sides and see how far that gets us. If that's not qualifying out of our group then so be it!
Save our strongest 11 for The EPL and both domestic cup comps, this season. I think we are something like 40-50/1 to win The CL? And maybe if we go out early that might be to our advantage against the other EPL sides in Europe when competing for domestic honours?
 
It will be nice to just get back to season. I think I've enjoyed about as much of the transfer window as I can deal with. We'll get someone. Nothing will surprise me better or worse. It's just another day in the life of a Spurs fan.
