I say deluded because we could easily end this window signing nobody. We’ve seen it countless times. But I reckon the club are that desperate and scrambling, and are mindful of the backlash they’ll get from the fans for once, that we will just sign any two fuckers and the club will dress it up as part of their long term plan being a success
If you factor in injuries and lets ignore all the squad players and focus on the first team only.

How have we closed the gap? The squad is still pretty much the same and our season is solely dependent on avoiding an injury crisis.
