Transfers The Summer Transfer Edging Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

We all know how this one ends
Chavs will absolutely sign him and much like Palace, RB are using us to get the deal done and maybe squeeze a bit more up front cash out of the Chavs.

The only hope if any of this is remotely true, is that we have learned our lesson, and are doing or seeking to do s deal or two on the quiet.

And yes,it's a leap of faith without basis or belief to temper the laughter.

This is good news, if true. We need Chelsea to move on to other targets as we're clearly not willing to get rejected again.

However, it raises the question – why have they moved on? Better value elsewhere?
They need to show a positive balance in this years transfer market. If they could, they would have done this deal a month ago. I read yesterday the Jackson transfer might be a loan with an obligation (maybe that changed) so they wouldn't have raised as much as they would have liked.

€42M!!! This shit needs to be investigated

Everytime Chelsea take a shit 💩 Milan walk into the toilet and ask them can they buy it.

Fckn cucks

Let's try and keep optimistic guys.

If he is indeed at the training ground today its good news imo. Get micky and a few others chatting to him, let frank talk face to face to him, show him the facilities, it can all only help.

Forget matching chelseas bid, go above and beyond, also on wages.

Fantastic player and very important to not let this one slip away.

Bouncer If that's the hill you want to die on enjoy, whatever gives you that erection I guess

I was thinking about the Simons last night in bed (make your jokes). I said we would never get Eze or Savinho and so far I have been proven right on that point.
However, on Simons, I just have this feeling that we can get it done. Chelsea have been hanging about waiting to raise cash to appease UEFA. There are various accounts that Simons has a bit of an ego, perhaps that is unfair, let's just call it confidence. I put myself in his position and I am getting pissed off with Chelsea. This deal has been agreed for weeks. Now, Garnacho is seemingly ahead of Simons in the pecking order. I wouldn't be surprised if he turns round and tells Chelsea to do one.
I must caveat this by saying I still think is unlikely we get this done. I was 0% on Eze and Savinho; I am 25% on Simons.
He has an ego. If we are playing this game (we shouldn't ) just have Paratici tell him. Look they have shown you how big a priority you are for them. Be an afterthought at Chelsea or the main man at Spurs.

Can Chelsea pay him more than we can?
Surely they have FFP issues.
Other than that - there is no particular reason why he would prefer them.
Chelsea a nicer place than Tottenham ?
He is more likely to play as us.
