This seems to be Chelsea's MO now, but up everyone, keep the cream and flip the rest to make a profit. I'm starting to think this is why they're giving them such long term contracts, which we all laughed at originally, keeps their value up when they offload, while they still have enough talent and "name" to attract good bids.
Expensive in the short term, but I'm wondering if it reaps big rewards over the long term.
