This is it but worth noting that the longer it goes on the less likely it gets. He can sign for us right now if he wants but he's stalling. Fair enough wanting time to think but you'd like to think we presenting a great opportunity to him and he'd immediately accept. It just feels likes he's waiting for Chelsea and if they don't come in by tomorrow then he'll sign for us

It could be they are just finalising the details of the contract, but after this summer you have to think the worst!!

I’d play destiny left forward and Spence behind
 
I would take Simmons at this stage probably, but not totally convinced by him. Might have good feet but does he have a burst to get away. Can he retain the ball against PL physicality. Does he work that hard off the ball. Didn’t he have injuries as well last year. Just get bad vibes from him and the fact he clearly wants Chelsea and been waiting for them is a bit of a red flag.

He has been waiting for Chelsea for a month. I can't blame the board for taking a chance on such a good player.

He’s quick but I’m concerned he’s a bit lightweight.

Then again, my analysis is based off a 3 minute video.

It’s very possible he’s stalling but you also can’t expect a player to give an instant answer to a contract proposal. Even if he’s 90% mind made up he will still want to discuss with family etc If he’s been at the training ground today he will want to digest everything he’s heard and seen.

That said, we’ve been talking to him all summer so he should have a fairly good idea about moving to London etc it’s not like this has come out of the blue.

So yeah I imagine we might even hear something tonight but more likely tomorrow morning. We will want a quick decision.

I still think he ends up at Chelsea but fingers crossed
 
Longer it takes the lower the chance we have. We surely were not stupid enough to let this hang for a few days and then be even more fooked.

Chelsea have signed every attacker on the planet before turning their attention to xavi it, just boggles the mind. They dont even pay huge wages these days and he has palmer in his position.
We have a starting spot in his position, cl, started off well, looking good and he can come be the main man.

Il keep my fingers crossed for when I check back in tomorrow morning!
