Conversely, they could look on us as taking points off their other rivals if we had Savinho. They only have to play us once more. If Savinho goes some way to us taking points off Liverpool, Woolwich and Chelsea, they could potentially see that as a positive for them, along with the money of course.

End of the day, where would Savinho benefit City most, sitting on the bench for most of the season, or knocking points off other title challengers with us?

I very much doubt that anyone currently sees us as title challengers, considering where we finished last season, so that may come into their thinking.

You never know...
They just don't want to sell him. And it's City, they know they don't have to.

It was a decent bit of market intelligence to sniff out that Savinho wanted to leave, and past cases with Pep indicated that they might just want rid under those circumstances, and had Rodrygo been possible for them maybe Savinho was possible for us. We weren't completely wasting our time on this one initially.

But the chain of events didn't work that way and its over now. Savinho has 4 years left on his deal and no leverage, City has made their mind up, no amount of money we bid is going to change their mind.

Levy dared to take on Chelski (to sign Simons) ...while the Levy bashers condemned him for doing it and just kept on throwing cheap insults at him
PS! Yes, Levy certainly has his shortcoming but he deserves credit too when credit is due.

Do you seriously think that Levy signed off on this deal in order to look good before a load of people online with made-up names?

Is that how clubs worth billions of pounds operate?
I don't think he thinks this nor does he suggest what you seem to think he has. He is talking about the troll here. Are you not the grammar nazi? If so you are neglecting the comprehension side of your game.

Savinho on loan with an option to buy sounds most likely. Obviously he couldn’t play against parent club so he couldn’t be responsible for taking points off them and, as another poster said, would be likely to take points off City’s rivals.

lol imagine calling me a troll when we've just signed an incredible player meaning that it's good for the club, do you support this club or what? :mourweird:

The signing of a good attacking player doesn't change whether or not you're a troll, it's given you another reason to troll the majority of supporters that you know full well aren't happy with Levy.

There's no reason for me to really have to explain your behaviour, the whole forum can see what you're doing.

I'm busy now boy, don't bother me again until tomorrow.

Nah for some weird reason you're just hyper sensitive and over emotional, no need for the meltdown...at the end of the day we all should be happy right, this is what we all wanted isn't it?

Literally a couple of days ago in the ENIC thread you were going on about how upset you were because Levy has ruined your Summer or whatever because you weren't happy with the transfer window which is fair enough but seeing as we've got this one over the line based on your protestations you should be happy, so why the angst?

Genuinely really weird.

Isn't it incredible that buying a player like this just increases the hate in some people?

For years the hate for Levy has been centred around him not bringing in top quality players. Now he brings in 3 and it makes them hate him even more!

Imagine hating someone for delivering what you've always wanted! It's incredible!

Of course supporters weren't happy with the transfer window until Simons was signed, but you've taken the opportunity to troll us about it.

Pathetic

Now do as you're told and don't bother me.
