Destiny …why?A Xavi debut against West Ham has a touch of destiny about it.
Not for me…but I am not confident about Richy and Solanke to be honest. Not sure I fancy a 33 year old Kane refusing to press and hogging free kicks tbh.
Never look back.
He was definitely good in his first couple of seasons for City. His pace was a real comfort blanket for Pep. His passing and carrying numbers are still good, but I’m not sure how he’d cope with pressure and box defending if we’re playing a more counter-attacking style.
Still, for the price and with his experience, particularly in the CL, he’s a decent understudy for Mickey. It’s a quantum fucking leap up from having to watch Davies struggle at CB last season anyway.
I don't mind looking back when looking back involves seeing 20-30 goals per season guaranteedNot sure I fancy a 33 year old Kane refusing to press and hogging free kicks tbh.

Akanji is apparently on £180k a week. Do we really want to make our third highest earner at the club a 4th choice CB?
If the wages are true this will cause disruption in the team. So in that respect, it’s a no from me.
Exactamundo. We shouldn’t be thinking that there’s any kind of regret in Xavis thoughts. You could argue Xavi wanted any ‘top’ PL club and Chelsea were twerking for him early on. So that’s where he thought he was going so would have pushed to make it happen.

Good compilation of an outing v real madrid. He does looks good, semenyo esq style of play.
I think i could get on board with this signing. 28 in October so more of a now signing but he would definitely enhance our forward line.
Wouldn't happen under Frank.I don't mind looking back when looking back involves seeing 20-30 goals per season guaranteed
If he came back to the PL it would be unthinkable to see him line up for anyone else though, surely? Not sure I fancy a 33 year old Kane refusing to press and hogging free kicks tbh.

As long as Brennan is putting the ball in the net regularly he will start I reckon.I think Odobert will be our new left winger.
Signing another midfielder would cement things.
Kane can fuck off to man united with his mate Neville. Not welcome back at Spurs.

Really don’t get this mentality. Dragusin won’t be match fit for most of the season and he can’t play LCB, Danso can’t play LCB, Takai isn’t ready, we’ve seen the difference between VDV and Davies at LCB.
If I’m choosing between Odobert and Tel as LW depth or Davies at LCB depth, the priority is pretty fucking obvious (to me at least).
Pressing is also Kompany’s mantra too and Kane is doing fine there atm. This is a concern. Kane is obviously an incredible player but you have to build your systems around him. Frank is adaptable but pressing seems a key principle and I’m not sure Kane can still press like that at 33 in the PL.
