Not convinced with Lookman or spending 45m on someone that doesn't really feel right.

Good player would be wrong of me to say he isn't but I honestly think January could prove to be a better moment to try big for Savinho again.

Kolo Muani and Akanji or Pavard I'd be pretty content with to tie things up. Move on with that and use what we have available until January.

I don't care about his age, he's experienced in this league and we need him.

He's proven and gets the job done.

6th highest scorer is nothing to sniff at.

Versatile, robust, intense player.

Knows Frank inside out and visa versa.

Ready to go prem player.

We aren't paying big money for a 29 year old with 1 year left on his contract! He's played 1 full season in the Prem, and 1 as a bit part sub. Hardly 'experienced'.

He's played prem football for four years and has had 91 starts.

So I have no idea what you're on about.

Is it likely we go for him?

No.

But we should.

He's available, wants out and we have his fav manager.

We need someone in who'll be effective and will hit the ground running.

No time for bedding in.

I agree. Not saying that as a pessimist or trying to soften any perceived blow but I simply don't expect anything unless a signing somehow falls into our lap.

And that wouldn't be a disaster. We can always improve but if nothing happens tomorrow it's hardly a tragedy after the players we brought in.
We've been left 2 or 3 short...again...

Nothing against the lad, but I would sell Odobert if we can make a profit.

He's a talent but still has 2-3 years of development to reach his potental. We already have Mathys Tel and Mikey Moore as similar project players that play left wing. We have one too many project players in the position and I rather get someone that is more proven. So yes, I would move Odobert on.

Bergvall is a no go. Not for sale.

Vic
Danso - Romero - VDV
Porro ------------------- Udogie
Palhinha - Bergvall
Simons
Kudus --- Solanke
Plays to a lot of the XI's strengths. Probably the best we can do.

If Spurs plan a back 3, surely throw some big money to gazump Liverpool on Guehi. They are offering 35m. Could be Spurs for 50 - Liverpool surely won't be able to spend any more without some major outgoings.
