Glue.

Model pro, doesn’t kick up with limited game time, apparently a good example and mentor to the younger players and can still do a reasonable job as 4th choice when called upon.

Most teams have a player of his ilk on the books.
It's getting debateable now as to whether he can still do a job at the elite level.

If he can't, there is no point clogging up the squad. We would be better served getting in a LB/LCB hybrid who could genuinely challenge VDV/Udogie for their places and get them to up their game.

The standard that some people have for what type of players that we are meant to get is just odd.

Is Danso a top of the line, world class CB? No. Is he a good CB? Yes.

We don't shop in the top of the line aisle apart from the odd Rafa van der Vart gamble. But we can still get good professional footballers in the side.
Danso is a good squad option. Better rotation than Dragusin.

But if we start next season with Danso at CB and Romero sold then that's a downgrade. Simple.

Would rather get rid of Maddison than Kulusevski.

Agree- I think a good manager that can teach him how to dictate a game with passing more than running could make Kulu into a world class CAM. I'm not really sure who that manager is right now though- couldn't say for sure.

Maddison at his age is more of a 'win now' kind of player. Kulu is someone for the now and the future.

He's got great leadership qualities, but of course we want to make sure anyone is a nailed on starter before naming them captain.

I would consider selling Porro if United offered silly money. Amorim obviously likes him. Spence is ready to fly.

Strongly against giving Amorim Porro as a weapon.

For all we know the next coach might play wing backs and then we’d 100% need all 3 of Spence Porro and U Dog.

We have precious few players who can pass the ball as it is, selling one of our best passers seems mad to me.
