Transfers The Summer Transfer Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I was there yesterday and while I’ll accept tge service wasn’t great, I’m starting to really worry about Dom… I’m think we might need to go big in the summer for a 9 there’s a few on the market but competition will be fierce

Sesko
Oshimen
Gyokores

Prob all out of reach? We’ll have to scout well
Thought he was a mid ranking prem player last summer but as usual everyone got over excited. He's a West Ham level forward.

Problem is because of that investment i dont see us buying another out and out number 9 especially with no European football. If we move on Richarlison we probably get a utility forward that can play wide as well. Shot ourselves in the foot yet again.

He's a stop gap no more really which doesn't mean he can't be useful. We basically need to hope another worldly pops up in the Academy. If we think that's not Lankshear or Scarlett and both need a season in the Championship, then who Irow? Not sure but it's clear we won't be dinning at the Kane level banquet for sometime.

Our 25 most expensive signings are Solanke, Ndombele, Richarlison, Brennan, Romero, Maddison, Sanchez, Gray, Porro, Van de Ven, Sissoko, Lo Celso, Kulusevski, Bergwijn, Soldado, Reguilon, Lamela, Son, Odobert, Bissouma, Lucas Moura, Sessegnon, Bryan Gil, Danso & Emerson Royal.

That's between 900mil and 1bn spent on that lot...and that's just transfer fees. Let that sink in for a minute.

How many would be considered successful buys, how many really moved the needle during their time at Spurs? Yes, some are recent purchases but still...

One man has presided over every single one of them signings. And guess what, he's still in the top seat, getting paid more than any other football director in the world, allowing himself fat bonuses whenever he fancies...and I guarantee you that if you asked him how he's performed at his job since '01, he'd tell you he's the best thing that could've ever happened to Tottenham, that he's a genius chairman and that we should all line up to kiss his ass.

We should never sign a Brazilian whose name isn't something-inho.

Is Tel likely to stay or go?

Can't be best pleased swapping the Bayern bench for the spurs one

I assume he's a club/Lange signing rather than specifically an ange one because he fits the profile of what we've been snapping up so probably doesn't matter that ange is done

However There was also a rumor that Bayern were gonna recall him as soon as the season ended to play in the silly world club cup thing .

So right now I feel it's looking less likely, but we'll have to wait for confirmation from Hercules to be sure
