One of them players who was solid for his NT (Brazil on top of that) and in 2nd rate leagues, but could never make it at elite club level. Was so hopeful when Poch took over that he'd be able to get the most out of Paulinho, but even the great man couldn't pull that rabbit out of the hat.

Still can't believe he went to Barca after that! And he scored some decent goals there iirc.

Oh well, wait til we sign Vinicius Jr in the summer.

Thomas Frank and Rayan Cherki sounds a bit of an odd pair.
Frank bypasses all the areas Cherki plays in with direct balls as early as possible.

Tbh as much as I’d love to see him here, I’m not sure I can think of one PL manager who would use Cherki in his best position
