Transfers The Summer Transfer Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I’m oretty sure we offer 70m on 1st January they accept it. Reinvest the money to buy a couple of CB, maybe Danso even. But we gave them no choice but to refuse,. What message does it send to the rest of their squad if the manager wants to play 3 at the back and they leave themselves with two fit CBs?

True but tbf to Levy and the club (makes me sick saying that) I'd imagine the offer only came in due to the news about Romero's "injury" whatever it is and Drags knee. We where obviously after 2 CBs not 1 hence still trying to get Diasi from Chelsea on loan.

1st of Jan we didn't need 2 CBs and id imagine Danso and Tomori where the targets. I'd wager Guhei is a summer target with his contract situation as a replacement for Romero just with the news of Drag we tried to bring it forward

Might be the club is calling Romeros bluff and letting it be known we are already looking for his replacement , so he either signs a new contract or he is gone.

McAtee
Gittens
Wharton
Harwood-Bellis

(Both McAtee and Gittens individually would be cheaper than Dibling if the £55m quotes are true, Dibling reminds me a little of Scott from 2years ago, nice on the eye, but questionable end product)

The £ may be strong but £55m it's not more than €100m

Didn’t want him anyway…

Tbf if the offer was legit they are daft not taking it.

They are in no danger of going down he won't sign a new deal could have got the money and just sat on in and had 6 months to get replacements lined up. Price will only go down now, then at the end of the summer window they will be in a sticky situation where they will be trying to flog him for peanuts, or risk losing him for a free.
Newcastle offered similar in the summer, they will have a queue on the summer to offer that much. Discounting injury don't think there is a risk to them

Every league position = £3.1m cash.......

So you can offset that against any drop in fee between now and the summer.

......Then you have harmony (manager) & momentum (team) to maintain to off-set too.

They're hoping for a bidding war in the Summer, us, Newcastle and Liverpool are linked.

I can see why they held out because if that happens his price won't go down and it's given them 6 months to look for a replacement.

Doubt there will be a bidding war. Most likely he’ll choose which club he wants to join and tell Palace he only wants them or he’ll leave on a free.

Need:

LB/LCB - Hincapie

MF - Angel Gomes looks small and his athleticism worries me. That Richard Rios looks fun but never seen him play. Cardoso looks built for the PL. Ederson would be great. Edit* Baleba if we are going balls out.

RWF - Depends on how Tel looks and what that means for the other right-footed players but for now, Mbeumo looks the best candidate for this role.

If Romero leaves:

RCB - Tapsoba. Not really that fussed with Guehi.

If Tel is a striker:

Semenyo

I don't mind if Ana Maria Markovic hates football, I still like to see her in a Spurs shirt

ANA MARIA MARKOVIC has walked out on Braga after just half a season.

Markovic, 25, has often been dubbed by some as the "world's most beautiful footballer".

She is often hailed as the world's most beautiful footballer

Last month she made the shock admission that she "hates football" in a tearful video.

She posted the clip as she said goodbye to her boyfriend and footballer Tomas Ribeiro, who signed for Farense.

The stunning blonde has now made a change for herself after leaving Braga.

She has insisted that she has been able to "develop" as a player before mutually agreeing to terminate her contract
Taking to social media, Markovic shared her statement on Instagram along witha pictures of her time at the club.

She wrote: "Sometimes things don’t go as planned.

"After just half a season, I decided to leave SC Braga.

"It was a short but intense journey with ups and downs, but one in which I was able to grow and develop a lot as a footballer.

"The best part? Definitely my teammates.

"Thank you for your support, team spirit, and all the great moments on and off the pitch – you are amazing!

"A big thank you to the club for their professionalism throughout my time here and to the fans, for the support.

"The journey continues and I’m excited for what’s next!"

Braga released their own statement to confirming her exit from the club.

It read: "SC Braga informs that the Club and Ana Maria Marković have terminated, by mutual agreement, the contract that united the two parties.

"The Croatian international played four games for the Gverreiras do Minho in her debut season in Portuguese football.

"SC Braga thanks you for all the dedication, commitment and professionalism with which you have always represented the club and wishes you all the best in your professional and personal future."

LB/LCB - Hato for me, maybe that esteve maxime guy from burnley?

MF - I would be happy with any of Ugochukwu, Cardoso, Stiller, Chris Rigg, or Wharton
RWF - Depends Odobert, Yang at QPR etc, but Bakayako would be fantastic

RCB if romero leaves - Araujo has a 65m release clause, would be the perfect replacement imo, and he could hold it down til Vuskovic comes good

Striker - Hoping tel comes good, no real planning besides shipping out richy.
