Class is permanent. And great players always find a way. Plus, it's the man's aura...if I'm Archie or Lucas and you put a Thomas Muller next to me day in day out, I'm gonna learn so much more than I do from watching a Richarlison, Bissouma or even a Romero...and I'm gonna do everything I can so that maybe one day I reach his level.

Anyway, he & Carlo were just examples to illustrate my point that we're dying for true elite to join our camp.

But you're happy you saw leadership & toughness once on Thursday night.

At what age do you think that bolded statement is no longer true? I'd agree if you were arguing buying a 32-33 year old Muller. But a 36 year old one? No thanks.

And why are you bringing Thursday night into this? I did not mention that at all or that I ws happy with the current squad. Just specifically that Muller would be a terrible, terrible signing. I'm all for signing elite players, but they need to be young enough to still run.

Apologies, thought I was replying to Richard, got my wires crossed.

Re Muller - you got your opinion, I got mine. Maybe you're right, maybe I am. Who knows. What's undeniable though is we must sign proper leaders.
