If we make the final and Bilbo are in the final need Spence to play against Williams.

It’s a very good point.

Williams plays LWF right? So, Porro’s side?

Would be a huge call for Ange to make. We know what his preferred back 5 is now but no question Spence is a better match up for Williams.

They don’t have anywhere near the threat down the other side so Udogie could maraud up and down all game.

He had Everton in the top half. Doesn't matter anyway as won't happen but you're doing him a diservice
Richard is a romantic. He'd rather we go for a 65yo who's won titles in Azerbaijan or Cambodia playing a fluid 2-3-5 formation. If the tactical genius & winning pedigree come with a good catchprase, even better. Them hidden gems just need their big break at Tottenham.

Riccardo Orsolini is having another very solid season at Bologna...12 goals & 3 assists in 25 apps. Shame he's missed circa 10 games through injuries (to something called hamstring), otherwise he'd be on 15-16 goals + 5 or 6 assists and Bologna wouldn't be 11 pts behind Inter & Napoli.

Such a good player and has been for years. Only 28yo. If he didn't have that injury record (and our Med staff weren't charlatans), I'd take him in a heartbeat.

The Cambodian Premier league is a competitive league , not far off the top 5

We should be shopping in these kind of markets

Let's get it done.

Sign a player from Mongolia and another from Kyrgyzstan and we've got all 4 corners of Asia covered.

That's how you do football business.
I've always wondered if Messi can do it on a hot humid afternoon in Phnom Penh as well.
A team called Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng Football Club won the Cambodian Premier League title last year and they are currently 4 points top this season

And they are managed by a fellow called PEP Munoz

It's written in the stars , the guy even has Pep in his name !!!

Make it happen Danny Boy

Shadydan Shadydan do us a favour sexy and add Pep Munoz to the manager poll

He's a good coach with average players. Hence the Everton mention

He's good coach who famously focuses on defensive structure and little to no attacking structure. His Real team relied on Kroos and Modric to decide how to control games because it made sense for them to do that. At Everton they played exclusively off the counter.

I don't think he's a good fit for a young squad halfway through a rebuild. He'd want experience over the likes of Bergvall, Gray, Odobert, Tel, Moore and any of the loanees coming back into the picture,

Villa are in financial hot water so will always consider selling any player. Why they sold Luiz last June - needed funds before the PSR deadline.

True

But lots of clubs looking for strikers, including Spurs, and not too many quality ones available, so if anything prices will be high for any quality striker.

Watkins can play centre, right and left which has attractions, even though he's not top quality but probably in group below those., only real negative is his age of 29 (30 in December),

If he had really been available for £40m in January, with our injury list I think we might have been tempted with a loan and obligation
