For once, I'd love to see a serious link with a player not in his teens.

We have enough young talent to nurture as it is.

Nelsen and Saha and we complained too old and past it , teenagers we complain too young and inexperienced.

It’s as if our selfish fan base expect the 9th richest club in the world to buy proven quality at its peak . They need to realise just because other wealthy clubs show ambition and strive for and achieve success does not mean we are wrong. No team is successful forever and then the fans cannot hack the bad times , this causes them great distress as their expectations are high . By being a shambles and a massively underperforming club for 25 years Daniel is ensuring we avoid that bi polar rollercoaster of joy and disappointment. Instead we have constant disappointment thus levelling off our emotions , thank you Daniel .

One request though Mr Levy can we keep the disappointment levels a bit more constant , anywhere 10th - 14th is my personal sweet spot for disappointment, inertia and lack of interest in my once great club

Romero won't be at Spurs next season. Richarlison mustn't be.

Big question mark over Vicario, VdV, Udogie, Bentancur, even Kulu & Mads...don't be surprise if they agitate for a move. Can't say I'd be that distraught to see any/all of them shipped out.

No shit Sherlock.

Wow.

Can't remember the last time a club sold and replaced that many players in one summer.

Players can agitate all they like but it's pointless if they have more than 2 years on their contract.

You were right to be suspicious of that Romero ITW filmed at the training ground. The club sanctioned it to create a market for the player after he wouldn't sign a new deal.

Players with shorter contracts who could move this summer:

Romero
Bentancur
Bissouma
Davies
Reguillon
Forster
Whiteman
Son

I could see all of those leaving this summer, even Sonny if the new coach decides it's time to start again. The only question marks are Davies and Son tbh

Chances of anyone else being sold are zero to none. Nobody is paying the money it would need to to get Levy to sell Udogie or VDV.

Richy is the only other one who might and really should move on this summer.

Well first, maybe cause other (big) clubs - bar Man Utd - are better run and they don't find themselves in that position to begin with. The fact we have that much dross in the squad shows ONCE AGAIN how grossly incompetent Levy & his gang have been for decades.

For sure they won't solve the situation over the summer, they don't have the balls or brains to get the job done. A proper serious club with genuine ambition would...but we ain't one.

The fact remains that Vic, Romero & co should be nowhere near Spurs next season. Fuck them.

It's pointless keeping guys that don't wanna he here.

Are you surprised? We're talking about the club that plays its biggest rival's anthem at full blast before a boxing event broadcast to millions around the world.

Plenty clubs have money and don't mind spending it, even on players who've failed at Spurs. If City offer 40-50ish for Udogie, he's gone. Same if Liverpool put 50-60 on the table for VdV. The players would wanna go, Levy would think it's two big wages off the payroll and have a wankfest over our 30% WTR. My opinion only, but we'd be foolish to turn those sums down for two players who more often than not have disappointed us since joining. Instead sign me two players who can stay fit a whole season and who don't give up when it gets tough.

Richy is the only other one who might and really should move on this summer.
We'll have to pay him off like we did Aurier and Ndombele. Who's gonna give us even 30mil for that prick...and pay him wages close enough to what he pockets at Spurs for doing fuck all? Nobody.

More importantly, what's your new alias gonna be? Should I start a poll?

This really could turn into one of the worst transfer windows in the history of the club.

We have 7 players out of contract, and 4 players entering their final year. Romero has expressed his desire to leave and I'm convinced Porro and Bentencaur may be right behind him with many suiters in Spain. Madisson's agent has also been shopping him around; with links to City to satisfy their home grown quota.

So, potentially need to sign 10 players just to fill the squad....oh, and we will need a very low NET SPEND due to financial losses. Tel and Danso will likely eat up all the Romero money; and Bissouma / Gil sales will likely net 15-20m at best.

I don't envy whomever has this job!

OUT OF CONTRACT: Tel, Werner, Reggie, Forster, Davies, Danso, Whiteman
LAST YEAR OF CONTRACT : Gil, Son, Bentencaur, Bissouma
LINKED WITH OTHER CLUBS : Romero, Bentencaur, Porro, Maddison

Oh no........ Werner, Reggie, Forster & Whiteman are out of contract!!!!!!!!

Danso is essentially a Spurs player already so wdf?

You drama queen.

60m euros to get in he room.

deal

They can have him but every single Spurs fan out there knows that somehow he will find a way to stay fit and score shite loads of goals at Everton

The post I was replying too suggested we’d be threadbare as we have 10 players either out of contract or 1 year left. I was showing that even by losing those 10 players we’d have a half decent squad. Obviously if we did lose all 10, plus players like (Romero) who would generate a big fee, we’d buy new / replacement ones. The team I showed excluded those. My concern is not about having not enough players, it’s about having a crap manager.

So a squad that's lost 19 times in the PL - incl to Ipswich, Leicester & Everton - and that'd lose 10 players would still be half decent?

DM me where you buy your crack, please.

Oh give it a rest ffs! I am at a loss of so many spurs fans looking for arguments over stupid shit.

Most of that squad came 5th a year ago. And it would be augmented by at least 6 new players (if we lost the speculated 10).

If things are so depressing go and find something else to do rather than being a keyboard warrior. This message board really is a very crap place to be right now. As bad as the club.

Same squad finished 5th the season before but without some good players that were added.

The league performance this season isn't reflective of the quality in the squad.

The squad clearly wasn't good enough to compete in 4 competitions this year but it's a fuck load better than 16th.
