Talent? Sure. Scouts scour the known universe to find players with the ability to beat a man with a dribble the way he can.
To Dare Is To DoI guess we have always fallen in love with a maverick type player at Tottenham, its tradition that we historically have that bums off seats player who is a little different and off the cuff and I think Eze probably represents that tbh.
I am not 100% against Kudus because with his head screwed on straight he's a very good player.
The big question would obviously be if Frank and his staff can get through to him and have him perform to that level consistently.

Is he actually a top player? Trickier question.

Given we already have a good finisher in Johnson, surely a talented dribbler like Kudus is the perfect complement to him?I think if we had a squad that was much further down the line and we just needed a little bolstering then fine, kudus could be that guy.
But we need proven quality, not hedged bets. If a club like us have say 150m to spend then we have to make every move stick. Of course nothings a given with any player you sign but kudus has literally downed tools at spam and his temperament is iffy. We need somebody we know we can count on not a project to try iron out major kinks out of the game of a 25 year old.
His stats do not make for good enough reading to warrant a 60m+ outlay given the potential risk. I would bet that johnson would outscore kudus pretty much every season because where johnson lacks the flash dribbling ability he makes up for with solid basics and goalscorer instincts that can't be taught.
I really would rather johnson be our starting winger than kudus. I know we would need a backup but it's not worth it. Perhaps go big for the lw instead for a dribbling creative forward to play more of a supply role.
I would much much rather go mega on a cm/dm, keep romero and really get the team being very strong and stable defensively even if we lack goals a little and then build from that solid base then to blow our load on somebody else the fans will be puning to be sold in a couple of years.
They could definitely afford it at the moment if it’s true, look at the money Galatasaray have been throwing around this summer so far
Johnson for his goal contributions last season, still couldn't beat an egg.
The last line is beyond funny, if he wants to win it then go back the manager.Don't shoot the messenger, but this is what my mate at the papers is hearing rumblings of
Son to USA.
New contract for Romero. Will be captain and our higher paid player (more than Kane).
New contract Bentancur.
Seymenyo or Kudas preferred over Eze. Eze to expensive since we already have Mads and Kulu.
Dragusin wants first team. If Romero stays, he's gone.
Defense of the top priority. Don't be surprised if we start playing some very defensive football in preseason.
Levy wants to win the premier league this season.

They sell Bowen they will be relegated.
He is absolutely elite, more efficient than Saka IMO when it comes to execution and decision making. They would want £80-100m for him.
He’s still only 24 which works in his favour too.
I think he’s probably even ahead of where Eze was at 24
But to be clear, I’m generally up for signing Kudus but also aware that he’s not a player that makes us a PL and CL winner
Under Moyes he scored 14 with 8 assists.Kudus is once again just the cheaper option.
5 goals and 4 assists last season in all comps.
No thanks.
Funny watching people do the mental gymnastics that this signing is good though.
