I do not classify this as ITK, as it’s not possible to verify, but my Scottish mate who is journalism professor (and knows loads of journos), sent me this the other day:
“Spurs were offering him £500k signing on and 2.5 years of same money as he’s on now and Liverpool said no because they fear the fans will turn on slot and sporting director so Robertson said I’ll keep quiet for a load of dosh and they gave it him”
Apply salt of course, but doesn’t sound likely for this window…
