We could easily sign Savinho in January if we wanted him. He's miles behind Cherki and Doku in that City team. I imagine that 70m asking price has reduced alot too. Maybe our initial offer of 45m last summer is more accurate now. As things stand, savinho is not going to make the Brazil world cup squad so imagine he is very likely to try and force a move in january and I can't really see any reason why city would block it this time.

But the problem is, if/when we fall short of top 4 and win nothing. Do majority of fans bemoan the fact that we didn't sign a left winger in january if odobert plays poorly and is one of the reasons we drop alot of points? always so hard to get the balance right between backing the team and backing the young players who need minutes.
