This is good news if its causes us to pivot away from Savinho. I would’ve loved Marmoush, think he’s the potentially the perfect Son replacement, but if as suspected, he’s on around £300k a week, then you knew it would never happen in a million years.

City probably want to shift Bobb before they get rid of Marmoush or Savinho and Bobb isn't what we need either.
Iliman Ndiaye is probably in the sweet spot of achievable and what we need.
On the right, this season he's more creative with assists from crossess and dribbles. On the left last year, he scored goals.
He's at AFCON though so maybe tough to do.
Tbh though, I would be after a passing CM above any priority at LW.
Maybe we can do a deal involving Yildiz….

If we're going to double down on this strategy where wingers are expected to be part time wrestlers in terms of how often they get involved in duels, Everton's Ndiaye fits the bill as well as anybody in the league.
They're very comparable in metrics related to the quality of dribbling and chance creation as well, indicating that his physical prowess doesn't involve a trade-off with flair.
- He's 3rd in the league in number of ground duels, a category where Kudus leads the way by a margin, with a better success rate than Kudus': 47.4 to 42.
Should certainly be on the list.
The obsession with wingers amd physicality is utter garbage in my opinion.
Get 11 players on the pitch h who perform close to their optimum each time they play abd you won't go far wrong.

I think we should attempt to have a conversation with Rodrygo tell him hes the start of a complete overhaul with a couple of world class players a season coming in. Tell him we are serious and pay big bucks. We desperately need an A lister.
