Agreed, amd if a team has Paqueta, Bowen and Kudus, as West Ham did last season, and struggles, I think that says quite s bit.
I have no real idea on which players would be able to meet the demand, but I do know we need strong-minded individuals who are on the up or who have shown they are not daunted by 60,000 expectant fans.
Well if and it’s a big IF we sign either of them, or players of similar stature it proves Levy was an issue . If and it’s a small if , we don’t sign quality players I think it proves the whole ENIC ownership is lacking ambition.

If that’s the case, it is the wrong move. We need technical footballers who can play the game not athletic brutes. We’ve enough players without enough football between their ears.

Neither will sign for us. They want to be playing in the CL and competing season in season out. There is no evidence to suggest they do it with us hence why we have to look at other options.
January is not too early to categorically make a decision. Spending money on transfer fees has never been an issue. The real issue is wages. If the owners start paying 250+ per week for a player then I know we have turned a corner.
That is more like it... a player none of City, United, Chavs, Woolwich and Bin Dippers are interested in... if any of these clubs are interested in a player we aren't competing.
