Tottenham's 'Magnificent 7' Signed

I would take those 7 today, although God knows what Frank would do with them.

Maybe. But even if they give 100%, if they aint good enough they shouldn't be playing. This is elite level sport.

Better to address the underlying reason why established players are not giving 100%..

A good start would be employing a manager they respect
I think players just get to comfortable here , no expectations to win anything , nice facilities , good money and living in London.
To be fair to Ange he tried to change it the winning mentality but then got sacked for winning a cup! ( obviously his leave form was what got him sacked but it’s still quite ironic)

Errmm, How about No.

Seriously, if that's the path we're taking, we may as well just fold the football club now.
Errmm, How about Yes.

Spend 65m on City reject
Sack Frank because we are shit and boring
New manager doesn't fancy City reject who rots on bench

Honestly, you want to give more money to a manager who spent 120m on Kudus and Simons and thought Palhinha and Kolo Muani were good additions on loan.

We lost a record number of home games and had our worst ever PL season.

You get people on here defending that saying "he threw the league to win the cup". That is NOT a winning mentality, I'm sorry you don't accept defeat after defeat making it normal then say he was instilling a winning mentality, it's just silly. Was it a valid strategy? Perhaps. Did it payoff? Yes. Was it about a winning mentality? Not at all.

A winning mentality is going all out to win every game, no matter how much of a grind it is. A winning mentality isn't just passing the ball sideways and backwards and not caring if you lose because it's not important anyway.

You can absolutely love and be forever grateful for the cup win and still recognise he was a deeply flawed manager.

Yeah that’s a fair and Valid point , and he ultimately paid the price for , which was the right decision.
I’m on about how he was always talking about us a a big club and a sleeping giant , and that he was going to win a cup with us , I much prefer a manager to speak like that then tell us all how we need to lower expectations as we finished 17th last season , I’m sure the players love being told they finished 17th last season so mid table is what we should expect.

I don't care about all that, it's a weird modern phenomenon where we all pour over press conferences and who follows who on social media. It's all a pointless side show as far as I'm concerned.

All I care about is what happens on the pitch.

Squad isn't shit

Your beloved Frank is, and your defence of him plus our style of football is the only thing tedious around here. Jog on.
"My beloved Frank", who I've said multiple times now is probably the wrong guy based on performances.

The only thing I'm guilty of with Frank is saying at the start of the season we should at least give him a chance now he's here instead of crying like a spoilt brat because Ange is gone.
