Delivering dominoes.
Has Semenyo even gone to City yet? Or Guehi?
Where he always is hiding behind an oponents to avoid a pass
If we were buying players to suit Frank’s system, I literally have no idea what that would be. Not joking.
For all his flaws, we knew what Ange was trying to do. Inverted fullbacks, a high line, press to win the ball high up the pitch to create opportunities, low driven crosses to be met at the back post. Granted, much of that fell away with injuries and other issues. But that was his theory of football.
After watching Frank for months, I have no idea what we are trying to do. Bypassing midfield, winning 2nd balls, break? Got nothing else.
So how do you buy to support that?
Goes back to needing a semi-consistent approach to our football that transfers can build to over successive windows. We are scattershot, thus ineffective.
Semenyo just needs to do a medical now, so if he plays today, it'll more than likely be his last game as he has a release clause.Has Semenyo even gone to City yet? Or Guehi?
January always plays out the same.
The selling side wants to get as many games out of the player they're selling before the last week, when they eventually sell.
My point is that the club is still fucking about putting ludicrous bids in for players that they obviously want.
Everyone is looking for the best possible outcome for the cheapest price available. Anyone coming from outside the Prem is, to some degree, a risk given that it emphasizes a different skill set to every other league. A high price tag doesn’t necessarily mitigate that risk — see Soldado, N’Dombele etc. Top tier Prem players want to play for top tier clubs (where they will get paid accordingly and be offered the chances to win trophies accordingly). Like it or not, there are clubs above us in the pecking order. Some were above us when ENIC bought the club and others have overtaken us. The flipside is that we have also overtaken a number of clubs since being acquired. We have never led in the transfer market, always looking for the cheap player
You'll have to forgive them for trying to find joy somewhere. They're not getting it on the pitch, that's for sure. The amount of space on here that is wasted on talking about how aggregators and journalists use a thesaurus to write tweets is actually insane.
Like every single fucking window people obsess over this stuff as if it is coming from the club and means anything thing at all.
What is wrong with you all? lol

I think you mean solace.
Hmmm solace is knowing that Frank will be gone soon and this nightmare will be over.
Have you read this thread? Does it feel remotely joyful?Hmmm solace is knowing that Frank will be gone soon and this nightmare will be over.
We have to manufacture joy wherever we can get it, and some have chosen the rumour mill as their dopemine fix.
Glasner said in the press today they will sell Guehi in Jan. If Man City come in with some cash (bearing in mind their injuries) he will go.Semenyo just needs to do a medical now, so if he plays today, it'll more than likely be his last game as he has a release clause.
I don't see Guehi going until the end of the window, if at all.
Hoping for a bidding war that will end Jan 31stGlasner said in the press today they will sell Guehi in Jan. If Man City come in with some cash (bearing in mind their injuries) he will go.
I hope Spurs bid, P/X Romero.
