Yeah but the Club are going to continue to buy within their model though.
I'd have no problem with it, if aforementioned model involved buying more proven quality - as most managers want to work with the finished articles.
The problem is they'll continue to buy good value deals or young/high potential regardless.

Basically confirms they are sticking with Frank now. At least until the end of the season, most likely.
If we finish anywhere between 8-10th they will have the same indecision in the summer as well.
Gallagher isn't bad player and is reliable for effort and culture. Poch made him captain for a reason but he's not going to move the needle and as pretty much everyone has said, he's not a progressive passing, technical player.
The sad truth is that arguably outside of Gazza, Lineker (both before my time) and Hugo (questionably), none of those players listed were at the peak of their careers when we signed them.
Can you imagine the reaction of this thread if we signed a 17 year old prospect from Southampton today?

Yeah, key bit I forgot to add there lol. Is that we boot Lange and appoint a new sporting director in preperation for the summer.
If I was running the club, I'd boot Lange and Frank immediately, or maybe at most let Lange have this window and then sack him in Feb.
I would then appoint the best SD we can find in advance of the summer. Get the philsophy sorted, hire a manager aligned with that style, and then sign the players.
But I bet we don't do that.
