Yep!Agree, but having a deep lying midfielder who wants the ball would probably mean we pass it to him sometimes instead of booting it long. Palinha, Bent, Gray don't really offer for the ball

Yep, this time we don’t have a nice distraction like the Europa where we can gain confidence with wins - we’ve got gruelling CL matches where we almost certainly will be in the playoff round.Last season there was clearly the three promoted teams going down, no the case this season
Another key thing last season was winning three games on the bounce
Brentford
Manchester United
And Ipswich
Without those, it would have been a lot closer
And its meant to be the best league in the world, yet you can be as shit as we were this and last season and never really be in threat of relegation.........While that may be mathematically true, you have:
Team Played Points Palace 21 28 Spurs 21 27 Bournemouth 21 26 Leeds 21 22 Forest 21 21 West Ham 21 14 Burnley 21 13 Wolves 21 7
To even get to match our current points total, Burnley would need 14 points from the next 17 games. That's more than double what they've had from 21. Wolves would need 20 points from their last 17.
West Ham would need to double their 21 game points haul in the last 17.
Even if West Ham beat us, that's still Forest and Leeds needing an uptick in form.
30 points is probably safe from relegation this season
(note that people have quite liked the managers from the teams either side of us)
Yes pleaseThis could be recency bias but each time during the past three months, I have seen Harry Wilson he produces something outrageously good (and much of the simple things which we seem incapable of too). His cross for Fulham's third was as good as anything you'll see. The look up before receiving the ball back only enforces that it was intended. Contract up at the end of the season, too.
Like I say, might well be recency bias but he seems to do what we need, and often. Would fit whatever it is the club ethos is now; which is to say; fuck only knows, we aren't going to be bringing in star players but we do desperately need better ones, and he might well fit that category.
Him and Gallagher aren't going to get the peckers full of blood but both would make this current team better, and most likely do so without huge implications for an incoming manager.
I agree, however we are really shit, West ham and Wolves are absolutely fucking stinking turd shit!

What I took from that is my comment about them being in better form is true - additionally, why the last 12 games? Is it because if it was the last 6 then it looks even more favourable for Leeds?
He'll go to Villa. They have a chance to win things this season. His family are all Chavs. End of
Gettin paid n getting laid. What does Lange actually do? Like what’s his purpose other than sitting at a match and watching us fail?
He's busy undoing the "MUST SIGN YOUTH" work of his previous colleague, Scott "Scotty" Munn. What does Lange actually do? Like what’s his purpose other than sitting at a match and watching us fail?
Don’t know what is worse this transfer window us not signing anyone or everyone using the saying “Moving the Needle”
Agreed, but GK is weak. As is LWF. As is #8.Taking a step back, I genuinely think our squad is not as bad as we've all been making out it is. Not a top 4 squad, but a 5th-8th squad, albeit one that is totally demoralised, demotivated, unhappy, and broken as a squad, with no clear direction or tactical identity, playing painful and negative football. Appoint an enigmatic manager who plays attacking football, and sign established senior players - GK, DCM, CF and a LWF - and we can be a major team next season
GK: Vicario / Kinsky
RB: Spence / Porro
RCB: Romero / Danso
LCB: VdV / Vuskovic / Dragusin
LB: Udogie / Davies
DCM: Bentancur / Palhinha
#8: Gray / Bergvall / Sarr
#10: Maddison / Simons
RWF: Kulusevski / Kudus
LWF: Odobert / Tel
CF: Solanke / Muani / Richarlison
Was involved in bringing Bergvall & Gray to Spurs plus others. What does Lange actually do? Like what’s his purpose other than sitting at a match and watching us fail?
You beat me to the finish.
