Gallagher does nothing to move the needle for us. If anything its a hinderance to our younger players getting game time to develop.

Very much see it as a cheap punt that ENIC deem to be an undervalued investment. As usual it will pan out like every other signing like this we make.

It’s another body in midfield sure which is welcome considering injuries, but he is a pretty average midfielder all in all, and in terms of the actual profile of midfielder we need long term, he is not what we need.

Exactly with frank in charge this just adds to the frustration of trying to pass forward. We needed a stiller type deep lying playmaker who can get thw ball forward quickly from deep.

He is a monster presser, he isn’t really a low block passive type of player, his passing is conservative in deep positions and you simply don’t get the most out of him if he isn’t in a battle. Would make sense if Poch was coming back but Frank I do wonder

Bentancur is done for us. Wouldn’t be surprised if we sell this summer, we need bodies. Bergvall and Gray will still play.
