Yea they definitely need to raise money but all clubs have more options in the summer and prices are better then too. Unless we agreed to significantly overpay for him then they'd be mad to sell in Jan.

Youre probably right, it is just a twitter twat isnt it?

But to speculate, I genuinely dont know who/what Everton need, but their squad isnt exciting at all

I believe NDiaye is more a LW, been shunted over to accomodate Grealish

So maybe they think if they can sell him for £50-60 they can buy two other players to strengthen

And being Everton that could even be Championship players, going in for Hackney for example...

Pinch of salt and all that, but I'd love for this to be true. He's been criminally underused by City and, whenever I've seen him play, he's been an absolute handful.

For me, he's the player that would unlock Simons. His movement is excellent, so he'd just increase the passing options for a creative 10.

I'll not get my hopes up too high, but I see him as being precisely the type of forward that would elevate our forward play.

Yea fair and Moyes has a great eye for a player so he could do a lot with 60m+ but to get likes of hackney (just as an example) out of boro mid season when going for promotion would cost more than at end of season if they miss out.
Sure it's all speculation anyway and hope I'm wrong as I'd like Ndiaye but just can't see it this window that's all.
IMO if we do end up spending a chunk on a player it will be to a foreign team who can't say no to a big pay day

Quality player and would take our attack up serious levels but isn't he on like £300k a week?

Honestly not a player Im that familiar with, though I see the excitement from everyone else

And yes - big money

We've done deals in the past, as far back as Davids as memory serves, where we've offered lower wages but a good signing on bonus to compensate.

So it could be something we can still make happen.

Question is, should we?

I think he's probably the best option on the market right now (if he's actually on the market)

Just an aside to give big props to Man City for totally fucking the market once again here... :frankthumbs:

Guy was on like £30k per week at Frankfurt and City had to go and give him 10x that to tempt him to join them...

Absolute joke.

I think the club is now prepared to push the wage level up. Apparently they made a big financial offer to Semenyo, around 250k a week.

Just line Gallagher and a number of our signings, we've been linked to Marmoush no matter who the manager is. Obviously he is appreciated by some people at the club so yes I think we would at least match that 300k a week.

A player entering his peak years, has adapted to the PL, a smart, hard working, dynamic attacker who offers goals and assists. If he is open to a move here then it's a no brainer

He’s so good but been ruined at City. Give him what he wants a week as this is the type of player to get us where we need to be. Him or Cherki were who I’d hoped we went for before city and they got both.

Another one I dont know much of

In recent years Ive quite checked out of football, only really watch Spurs

From what I can tell this lad is very talented, but a bit like Kulusevski profile wise? IE play on the right, left footed, will drift inside?

Much sharper on the ball than Deki and much weaker off it. He plays right side and comes in on his left. Technically very good player.

Please prove me wrong and incompetent Maghnes, but this screams of repeating the same mistake we've been making for years.

Spend the money wisely on players we know can perform in the prem. Ndiaye or marmoush
