Tottenham set to rival Inter Milan for ex-Aston Villa winger Moussa Diaby
Diaby is open to a move back to a Champions League club after 18 months at Saudi side Al-Ittihadwww.independent.co.uk
Meh
Frank said he didn’t want to fill the squad with average players and buy for the sake of it. This would come in that category.
I question Frank's view on everything, and Iwe recruited a very average manager (for our heeds), so what's different I wonder.
Sounds a good policy though doesn’t it?
We probably wouldn’t be in the mess we are in now if we had just bought better players.
I think you’ve given yourself away right here.Bollocks....all three had as successful a career if not better than that Chelscum Arsewipe.
He did go back to Hajduk and planned to retire there...
Guilty....I'm a Spurs fan as charged.I think you’ve given yourself away right here.
You’re not going to get past the fact that he had a successful career at our rivals. No more to say.

Villa supporting pal of mine says he’s class and doesn’t know why they let him go.
I remember him as a fun spark in that Villa team during his one season with them. 10 goals and 11 assists in all competitions before he got flipped to Saudi. Not to mention 49 goals and 47 assists over 4 seasons in Leverkusen.FFP I think. I wonder if the Villa forums have a thread on him for insight. Inconsistent is my memory. A shit Aaron Lennon.

He's made a good job of doing that thus far into his reign. Xavi looks like the only decent player of the lot of them brought in.Frank said he didn’t want to fill the squad with average players and buy for the sake of it. This would come in that category.

My Villa supporting mate said he was a huge disappointment and was happy to see him go.Villa supporting pal of mine says he’s class and doesn’t know why they let him go.
Yeah. He's not that one star offensive player but you can see why we would be interested in him.Intresting stuff wouldn't be totally against it ...still think we need an actual goal scorer.
I agree that there’s certain positions we’d struggle to find a meaningful upgrade for in the January window, however we’ve got some serious gaps in this side where even mid players would be a substantial improvement.find and then buy
lets be real -
for a player to IMPROVE us, I would imagine there is a general consensus here that people do not want to just buy a mild upgrade but actually get a player that, long term will be a solution to our problems.
That is a certain level of player, likely starting for a team challenging for things.
Midseason, most teams are not going to sell players that are pivotal to their season's aspirations - sure, Man City have pulled it off - but we are talking about extremely rare situations
