A
as bleak as this sounds it really is the reality we find ourselves in at the moment.
Given the run of fixtures it’s sure to get worse before it gets better.
We need a lift and some league points ASAP
I think Sterling is an example of a player - much like John Stones a few years ago - where a player falls out of favour and suddenly becomes thought of as a total washout, yet if they move to another club and play regularly that would be forgotten.
On a decent, sensible wage on a 6-18 month type deal, I'd rather Raheem Sterling with a point to prove (e.g. WC) over Muani, or probably a Lookman type player that has no credible history of performance in this league
That’ll be most decent playersDoes ANYONE on this forum ever consider that players might not want to come here???

I do not want Sterling at all……..Euros or Dollars please.
With Odobert now a RW, we need someone who actually plays LW… Akliouche seems much more a RW/CAM than a true LW/LF. He fits the profile more of a Kulusevski replacement.
He went to Woolwich, had the opportunity to play in an settled team at the top of the league
And did the square root of fuck all
Looking on Fotmob, he managed 9 appearances between Feb and the end of the season
One single full 90 - two assists and his best performance against PSV Eindhoven
Otherwise he was dogshit and not trusted
While I agree there are players that fit that bill - look worse than they are, can really impress with a fresh start - I dont think Sterling is one of them
Don't be ridiculousDoes ANYONE on this forum ever consider that players might not want to come here???

Seemed to me, at the time, that he went to Woolwich as a favour to Chelsea (what with the weird incestuous relationship between those clubs) to a team where he wasn't ever needed, for a manager that was winning games from set pieces.
We know enough from recent seasons that the wingers are very productive in a Frank team, so it seems like he would not only be much more 'needed' in our current situation, but possibly better suited to the way the team is encouraged to play
I’m done every time Sterling plays for us.I wonder if people actually mean this when they say it, the amount of I'm done's and final straws I keep hearing about, I mean what does it actually mean anyway, are you done watching Spurs? Are you done for the day? Are you done in this thread? The mind boggles...![]()

We have just got rid of Johnson and for me sterling would be a washed up mk2 of Johnson.
