We should get the actual players we need in before even thinking about strength in depth. Another #8/10 does nothing for us.No way we should try to sign both and have strength in depth.
That would be madness.

Imagine if we actually upgraded 2 positions per year instead of signing 3 for depth and 2 kids just cause. We should get the actual players we need in before even thinking about strength in depth. Another #8/10 does nothing for us.
It's a novel concept, right?Imagine if we actually upgraded 2 positions per year instead of signing 3 for depth and 2 kids just cause.
We need to scramble these messages in case the scousers and scum cotton on to this idea
Also, Gallagher is cack. Why he was signed is just beyond me. Solves absolutely nothing and certainly doesn't help with a march away from relegation.
I'm going to get "we tried to sign Semenyo" on the back of a shirt
Jones would've been better than Gallagher in terms of a profile we don't have, but neither are top level difference makers
Lange is putting a lots of trust in the medical team since this means Spurs only have 4 fit forwards (2 fit WFs and 2 fit CFs).

We didn't need another Bentancur type player. He's astoundingly average. It solves the problem of Bentencur being injured, Bissouma in final 6 months of contract and Palhinha loan ending in summer. He's also homegrown, replacing Johnson.
Conspiratorial thought: Gallagher was bought to help lure Poch back to the club- his old captain, no?
Doesn't change the fact that he's not very good.Conspiratorial thought: Gallagher was bought to help lure Poch back to the club- his old captain, no?
Nothing we do now is gonna remotely move the needle, assume RKM is staying as too many moving parts in too many deals to make anything happen, might get a loan-to-buy wide player maybe but likely to be a Danjuma/Werner level non-event.
Anyone likely to hit the ground running have to be featuring for their current side so unlikely to be shipped out this late in the window, Sterling on a free would not surprise me in the slightest and he's washed, not going to improve us and another bench option who offers nothing.Actually getting a halfway decent LW would help us a lot right now…

Gonna be bloody expensive but this failed attempt signing has really captured my imagination
At this point we don't even need a top level difference maker, just the right profile will do.
