I agree with him about Kees Smit. He would get plenty of playing time at Spurs with so many CM out injured. Of course, Smit would not come a guarantee but neither would any other player...

Doesn't change the fact that he's not very good.
Nothing we do now is gonna remotely move the needle, assume RKM is staying as too many moving parts in too many deals to make anything happen, might get a loan-to-buy wide player maybe but likely to be a Danjuma/Werner level non-event.
Actually getting a halfway decent LW would help us a lot right now…
Anyone likely to hit the ground running have to be featuring for their current side so unlikely to be shipped out this late in the window, Sterling on a free would not surprise me in the slightest and he's washed, not going to improve us and another bench option who offers nothing.
Honestly, I think this one is an all-timer for Spurs transfer windows.
