I don't understand how you can let a player like Son leave without a clear plan to replace him? I still can't believe we have such incompetent people running this club. When you sell a world class, legendary player, you need to bring in a decent replacement. You can't rely on two teenage nobodies to step up.

On your first point, Kane says hello. I'm sure many people within the club believed Richarlison was that replacement, but they have since proven themselves to be really shit at player profiling
There rarely is with Lange & then one comes from out of nowhere. I think they know they have to reinforce not only for the current state but I sadly think Deki is done , possibly Madders too . As much as Nusa was talked up as a youngster, he’s got 2 goals and 1 assist in 16 games for Leipzig this season.
Xavi had 10 goals and 7 assists in 25 games for a poorer Leipzig side last season, and he’s not exactly been ripping it up here.
Nusa for anything more than a £20m punt would be the opposite of a smart signing imo.
There's no credit in identifying players. It seems like something Spurs says as an excuse for not doing business. Look at Fulham. They had a need and signed Oscar Bobb to fill it. They didn't talk about better players they could have, and ultimately didn't, sign. They just made the deal. You have to really wonder, although Paratici remaining in situ until Monday is the mockery and laugh at our expense. Just more indifference to the needs.
