Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Squad is in a worse position at the end of the window than the start of it = FAIL

Another one for the ENIC trophy cabinet. Don Levy would be proud.

Only if you include the January injuries. I personally did not rate Johnson at all and thought getting Gallagher for the same money we sold Johnson for was decent business and brought more leadership / winning culture into the team. It is criminal that they have not strengthened given the injuries and our perilous results, but sacking the manager at 3 or 4 weeks ago would have been as good, if not better, than buying a new LWF.

I guess the 70s were just a different time. Jennings is still loved at Tottenham and came back to us after the move.

Even Terry Neill joined us in the 70s after playing for them and then went back to manage them directly from us as well.

Ironic that football was more raw and street-level back then; yet people are so much more afraid of oppo banter and rivalries these days.

I think Saka must be one of the most overrated players going. I think because he goes on a few little dribbles every game he gets away with doing nothing for most of the game. I mostly notice him laying on the floor, diving or hobbling.
The league is very weak & has been for a while hence a sort of solid 8/10 Woolwich team are going to walk the title.
They would get destroyed by peak city, Chelsea, Liverpool , united etc.
But that’s why it’s so frustrating we are stuck with ENIC with no ambition & football competence.
This could easily be us cashing in on a weak title race. But we seem more concerned in supporting ENIC despite us being crap.
He is overrated because he's English, but he's still very good. Very very good at 1v1s and delivery.

umm - Gallagher?
And that Brazilian lad

Not defending ENIC here but that is actually 2 players "in"

Who of them exactly is an attacking player sir ?

Might not be super clearly stated, but I would assume that we have Spurs fans here that would know right away what position who plays and also that in other departments we had other injuries like Davies, Bentancur, Bergvall etc...

We don't need a CB. There's no point to recall Vuskovic when he's killing it at HSV just so he can sit behind Romero, VdV, and Danso.

If we recall anyone, it should be Moore because we desperately need attacking help.
Except Danso is going to be out for months.

Though I actually agree we don't need to break the glass and get Vuskovic back.

Moore wouldn't do much for us in the PL. He's miles off.

Presumably, now that people are classifying injured players almost like a transfer out, it's now open season again on proclaiming returnees as "like a new signing"???

In addition, can't believe this didn't occur to me sooner, we must also begin selling players every time an injury returns, to mirror this notion that we should go out and sign someone every time an injury occurs, right??

Of course I am including injuries.

Ambitious clubs should be reacting to injuries while the chance is there. See the scum re: Eze in the summer and now looking for Merino cover (despite siting top of the league and having a much better squad than us).

Saka is fantastic. Bias should never blind, however understandable. And it's painful to say it but.....

I don't think he has been as good however this season, and maybe the injuries have taken a slight shine off his quality.

Walks into every single side in Europe, possibly with the exception of Real and Barcelona.

We had Adebayor on loan and the only way we could have afforded Tevez was on loan, but we couldn't have 2 loans from City at the same time.

I think I'll trust Redknapp's word over yours. Redknapp - Spurs tried for Tev
Redknapp: I'd take Tevez tomorrow
Redknapp wanted Tevez, Tevez wanted to come, an even in Redknapp's article which you have linked it says "Daniel made some enquiries" What's he making enquiries about CJJ? The loan rules... no, a fee was well within reach. But, the stumbling point was wages. Levy didn't want to pay 200k a week. If he had, we would have finished minimum 3rd. Redknapp's throw away quote about having him on loan and City subsiding his wages is just that... a throw away quote. I will trust what I know about that period and not what a Frank / ENIC sympathiser concludes from a few Sky Sports links in 2012. Or to translate into a style you might understand:
