The whole ange cult thing is like one giant strawman. Even in the last page, you can't bring up what a useless manager he was without someone going "but the Europa League".
Someone even said the other day that we played well in that final ffs.
(following bit is not 'you' you, but the people reading)
Even if Frank lost every game 10-0 all season, it wouldn't mean it was a mistake to get rid of the last guy. No event would. Similarly, no event would justify him returning, ever.
People need to get over that and stop lauding a scruffy cup run as some kind of turning of the tides.
Yes, we won a trophy. We had one shot on target. Their keeper made no saves in the entire game. The second half, we had no shots. None at all. No corners. 35% possession all game. Those are the statistics that make up a fact.
If that was "the greatest night" of your spurs supporting life, good for you - but it was a terrible game of football.
You can admit that we had one of our worst managers in recent history, and a worse performance that we've shown all season so far, and yet not be lambasted as "not a real spurs fan". It's actually embarrassing to be cheerleading last season in that way, because we were a scuffed half-shot away from being beaten in a final by the worse man utd team for decades.
