'legally'
Speaking of 2009, bumbled into this highlight reel today. Old Spurs on both sides. It wasn't just recently?Am I the only one thinking 2009 feels like just a few yesteryears back but it's actually 16 years ago...?

*MbumeoI’m convinced that if we do sign him his shirt will say Mbuemo.
Your 1st 'issue'... From where I'm sitting, you're describing yourself.Nah mate, I said no manager survives 22 losses.
I have 2 issues here:
1. the gross misrepresentation and lack of contextualising of his tenure from people with an agenda to be proven right no matter the facts,
2. the excuses already being lined up for Frank under-performing before a ball's even been kicked!
I graduated high school and started uni in 09.Am I the only one thinking 2009 feels like just a few yesteryears back but it's actually 16 years ago...?

I’ve done the Thomas Frank rabbit hole on YouTube too and I have to say I’m very impressed.
Let’s hope the club backs him. I think he’ll do a good job in the PL with the current squad but not the CL.
What does Levy value more????
As sad as I am for Ange I’m very excited about Frank.
He is if we finish top half. Under Ange we finished fourth from bottom. That's like saying it took 41 seasons to see what Tottenham was made of. Its stupid because it doesn't take into account the totality of the period: Two seasons: one fifth league finish, one 17th, one Cup semi, One Europa Cup, One Champions League qualification.
Frank needs to be an upgrade otherwise what's the point?
I had him down for the BL job as soon as I heard Alonso was leaving. Was stunned we even had a chance.Interesting Leverkusen wanted him

Inside Thomas Frank’s Tottenham Hotspur appointment
Daniel Levy led the pursuit of the Dane and Brentford did not attempt to persuade him to stay on as managerwww.nytimes.com
Towards the end of the season, it became clear Spurs had made Frank their top choice and that he wanted the role. Frank’s pre-existing relationship with Lange helped and Levy has been a big fan for some time. Lange was heavily involved but Levy drove the pursuit with Venkatesham. Conversations were held about the finances it would take to prise Frank and his staff out of Brentford before the season had finished. Bayer Leverkusen had been interested in Frank replacing the Real Madrid bound Xabi Alonso but the Dane wanted to stay in London.
I keep reading these takes and genuinely don’t know what people expected given the managers we’ve tried in recent years. I can’t think of anyone better to take us forward.Seems the majority are happy with Frank.
Im not so sure, but as I did with every gaffer, I wish him well.
I strongly disagree. He’s been proven to get results when he has and hasn’t had his first choice team.I think Ange had the potential to be a disaster this season - like 12 games with no "W" before being sacked, and all the good feels long gone.

Like I said, I wish him well.
I am not as confident as you that he is the best to take us forward. Time will tell.
I thank Ange for the trophy - He deserves our appreciation.I strongly disagree. He’s been proven to get results when he has and hasn’t had his first choice team.
I just thought he deserved the opportunity to start the season and take on CL. I mean he did earn that. Yes the league was shit, but for a reason.

But rightly or wrongly - he’s gone - what’s done is done - what he might have done next season or what he deserved has now become irrelevant. Time to move on …
