Frank is learning. He isn't fcuking Mrrlin and neither does he habevworld class players at hos disposal.

That said, going a goal down should not lead to panic and a sense of disorder.

Now to Bodo.

Let’s be honest here, we haven’t really looked good offensively in many games. Second half vs Brighton when Xavi came on in the 10 being the exception not the rule

Let's be honest here....... It's a work in progress with multiple injuries in attack and no standout candidate for LW.

It's not as if Frank has stepped in and disrupted a previously working front 3/4 is it? ........Even with everybody fit and in preferred positions the 3 assumed best attacking players (Xavi, RKM & Kudus) are all newbs with 2 of them new to the league.

Regardless; the eyetest so far this season deems that all the .18 chances type-guff is nonsense........ I mean .60 XG for that WH game proves just how floored a concept it is... We could have walked off with 5 or 6 that day.

Even tonight; the idea that Wolves had more and better chances than us is ridiculous....... (FWIW; BBC says we had .88 tonight; not .56.)

This was to be expected because he wanted to make us defensive solid first but it’s ugly

He hasn't made us more defensively solid though. We've got an XGA of 7.46 (8th best). This time last year we had an XGA of 5.88 (2nd best in the league). Only CPalace have outscored their XGA by more than we have so far.

And despite having better/more attacking players at his disposal, our XG is now 6.95 (11th and nobody has outscored their XG more than we have - or even close), this time last season it was 15.75 (best in the PL).

I wasn’t happy with the starting lineup, but we’re 6 games in.

At this point under Ange, everyone had us nailed on to win the league, and well, look what happened there.

Everywhere Frank’s been previously, he’s had a run of bad games at the start. Difference is here, is that although the performances haven’t been great, we’ve been getting results.

Let’s see where we are in another 6 weeks or so.

6 games lads. 6.

His lw/striker signing is unfortunately injured. He's very good. That allows Simon's to move central (though yes he arguably should be already despite the above).

It's just so early. And we're genuinely near top of the table.

I do think we’ll notice a difference when our number 9 isn’t Richarlison. Love his effort and cuntiness, but he’s not at the level we need.

Keeping the faith until we get Dom or RKM up front for a while. See where we are then.

Unless Dom or RKM can go peak Kane and play 10 and 9 at the same time, I’m not sure what they fix.

Frank needs to just get Xavi in the 10 or we will stay constipated

That tweet was before we scored so xG was added after

We definitely couldn’t have had 5 or 6 vs spam. Not from open play that’s for sure.

It’s obviously a work in progress but there’s a lot of work to be done

He/we definitely have a lot of room for improvement in our attacking play - however i don't for one second doubt that Frank will be looking at ways to improve this, so for me it's a case of waiting to see how things progress over time as it's far too early to be overly concerned with it

I think it’s definitely harder to play through us in the press and on the break. Other than today, we defend set pieces better as well.

But he’s picking lineups that send out the message he’s afraid of our opponents.

At home against a pointless Wolves, there was no need for that midfield. I don’t really get what point he’s trying to prove.

We will finish much higher in the league than we did last season, xgA and xG be damned. We are a more stable looking outfit game to game now, a bit boring and functional currently but we are getting beaten less and that will continue.

His biggest skill might just be keeping our back 5 fit because as we saw last year when they play we generally win.

Unfortunately the injuries mounting and lingering in our forward line makes me worry our medical issues are still not over.

Of course we will. We've added 3/4 first team players for a start. And we will probably end up with a better XGA than we did last season, for various reasons, but anyone saying Frank has made us "more solid" based on these first 6 games is talking out of their fucking arses. We aren't. Anyone saying we've sacrificed attacking productivity for defensive solidity is also talking bollocks. So far we have sacrificed a shit ton of offensive production (with better options) for worse defensive output. We've just been fucking lucky.

Maybe if it starts to click that will all reverse - but it's not like there was a bunch of evidence at Brentford to suggest this is a sure thing. Brentford were shit XG and even shitter XGA last season. I really don't know where this notion comes from that Frank's a defensive genius. Brentford's XGA was only 8 better than ours last year - 14th best in the PL.

It took time for Glasner to get Palace playing like they are.

It took time for Iraola to get B'mouth playing like they are.

It's going to take Frank time to get us consistently firing the way he wants.

And he should be granted it by the fans.

And he definitely needs a summer window to start to get to work filling holes in the squad, making upgrades and shaping it the way HE wants it, like the aforementioned have.

There are players he thinks he can rely on that he's still learning he can't.

And some he's quickly learned he can't rely on and is reluctant to play, which effects other areas.

Today was substandard, but that game... we would normally LOSE in that situation.

The resilience we're building is a key component of what he's building, and it's kicking in.

The rest will come.

Being ropey and still being able to dig something out of a game is an important facet to have.

After our last league performance, if someone told me that after 6 games we'd be 3rd in the table, joint third highest goal scorers, with only 4 goals against, I'd have bitten their hand off for it.

Not even too long ago this would be viewed as a very solid start for a new manager.

The way some are freaking out is odd.

Bingo.

If that is properly viewed, it's a testament to the good work he's done in a relatively short period of time, considering the flaws we had accumulated.
